Weed the wild ep

WEED THE WILD, 2006. SELF PRODUCED EP.

  1. Weed the wild
  2. Tanja joins the beating | Listen at MySpace
We recorded these 3 songs out of frustration after parting ways with Threeman Recordings. As they dropped the plan of us recording a second album, we decided to split with them and record something on our own. So we financed the whole thing by doing a couple of shows and selling some shirts. We printed 1000 copies and there are still some left if anyone is interested. Just contact the band. As well as the previous recordings, this was made in Off Beat Studio over a weekend.

This is the debut album, recorded and released in 2004. We recorded and mixed the whole thing in the old Off Beat Studio before they moved location. We had a blast recording it. As usual, the music was ready before the lyrics and one day Jocke and Robert came back from sitting by a lake with a few beers and a pen and paper and dropped the title of the album.. Fire falls and the waiting waters... We all agreed that it sounded good, long... but good. The search for a cd cover didnt take very long at all >>
Demo 03

DEMO, 2003.

  1. A whistler and his son
  2. The poet must die
  3. Crash landing
  4. Why would the captured set free the flies?
This demo was made in November 2003. All the songs later ended up on the debut album, Fire Falls..... Though here the song names are different. "A whistler and his son" was changed to "A whistler and his gun" and "Crash Landing" is in fact, "Ceremony...the waiting waters". Backing vocals on this recording was done by good friend Emperor Magus Caligula from Dark Funeral. Contact the band if you want this release.

>>> We contacted famous artist Kristian Wåhlin and he had this painting almost done. We liked it alot and asked to use it. As everything was agreed and we looked at the cover and said, well now the title makes even more sense! Then we asked Kristian Karlberg to put together the booklet and fuck around with our pictures etc. Both of them made a great job and we are very happy that we worked with those guys! The album was well received by fans and by media in general. We did not tour this album but did a few shows here and there and got great response from the crowd!! To the right you can see some pictures from the recording of Fire Falls And The Waiting Waters. <<< Back to discography
